Who: The program is open to AIA architects and single- or two-family residential projects. The firm and/or the project must be located in the state of Maryland.

CUSTOM HOME BUILDING
What: MNCBIA’s Custom Builder Awards
Who: Open to both members and non-members of the Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association. Entries must be no more than three (3) years old and represent either custom construction or speculative luxury production houses or condominiums.
When: Call for entries is typically early February with a deadline in early April. Awards are presented at in May.

INTERIOR DESIGN
What: The ASID Maryland/Chesapeake Home + Living Design Competition:
Who: Open to residential and commercial Interior Design Projects within the state of Maryland. Categories exist for both professional and student entries and ASID membership is not required.
When: Deadline for entry is usually the end of May with awards presentation in September.

REMODELING, RENOVATIONS, and ADDITIONS
What: Home Builders Association of Maryland Remodelers Awards of Excellence
Who: Open to HBAM members and recognizes superior and creative remodeling projects which are sensitive to existing structures and make appropriate use of building elements and neighborhood concerns.

What: Maryland Improvement Contractors Association & Chesapeake Home + Living Remodeler of the Year Awards
Who: Open to both members and non-members of the Maryland Improvement Contractors Association.
When: Deadline for entry is usually late September with a November presentation of awards.
