The Great American Dream Home Raffle

OK, so it is not a contest per se, but with a chance to win a $1.6 million home for $100 and help out a great charity, too, we thought you’d want to know.

The Universal Peacemakers Foundation, an Upperco, Maryland-based non-profit organization that recently expanded its economic and social services to help those who are at risk of home foreclosure, has launched The Great American Dream Home Raffle™ in partnership with renowned custom homebuilder, Prestige Development, Inc.

TGADHR_KitchenPrestige Development is making available the newly constructed $1.6 million model home at its Brighton Hills community for the raffle.  Brighton Hills is located in Phoenix, Maryland in a pastoral setting along 60 acres of majestic rolling hills and surrounded by trees. Only 11 estate homes will be constructed, providing for an intimate community with a large area of green space for everyone to enjoy.  The 13306 Brighton View Court  model features five-bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, bright spaces and high ceilings. With a coffered ceiling and a 16-foot high stone wall, the great room features a fireplace flanked by eight-foot tall French glass doors. Off the great room are a sunroom and an enormous gourmet kitchen complete with granite countertops, walnut floors, stainless steel appliances, an eat-at island and breakfast area. In the interim, Susquehanna Bank is holding all money collected from sales of the raffle tickets.
