In our June/July issue, we featured an array of reusable bags in the brightest, most summery colors we could find. The functionality of these totes are
boundless: they can be used for anything from eco-chic grocery shopping to impromptu day tripping. Our only regret is that we couldn’t fit more on the page! So, here are a few of our favorites that didn’t make it into the magazine.
The brightly hued totes in Envirosax’s Botanica Series all feature various abstractions of natural forms. You can purchase the entire series of five with the Botanica Pouch, or pick and
choose your favorites.
Or, you can unleash your inner-prep with this argyle print number from Envirosax’s Oxford Series.
The Reisenthel Streetshopper #5 has nautical patterns inspired by the international code of signals and is made with the material from a ship’s sail, making this multifunctional bag perfect for boat outings and trips to the beach this summer.
This Artist Series “Kitchen” bag was designed by Vancouver-based artist Nina Palmer for the culinarily-minded consumer. The natural cotton tote is available at BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) and a portion
of its proceeds supports local arts communities and the Nature Conservancy.
Finally, there’s always BUILT’s Market Tote. The small option is great for packing lunches (those brown bags are a thing of the past!) and the larger size is the perfect fit for fresh
picks from the local farmer’s market. Bonus: made from neoprene, the bags insulate contents and are machine washable.
